I coudn't go out into public without seeing old people, middle-aged people, even "scene" kids wearing these things. They're tacky, and just utterly ridiculous. Also, Heelies. I don't know why, but the skate + shoe combo just annoyed me. You've got me worried that I was too harsh. I'd hoped to sound very positive about the Marketing Forum - I did think it was a great event which I both enjoyed and expect to win business from. But I found that in much of the talk between sessions was focussed on how "it's not what it used to be" and I was trying to unpick that a bit.
