I'm just curious how Google can take different fields of interest in account when calculating someones influence. If the quality of ones social network is calculated by shared information it restricts itself. People who have a lot of connections but in different fields are different than people who have a lot of connections but only in few fields. What's more powerfull, what gives a bigger ROI? Depends on the product. Overall I'd like it if I can reach a lot of fields as I see more potential in spreading my message. If you stay in few fields your message is contained in a closed circle.
I'm curious :)
