Marketing 2.0 – the International Word of Mouth Conference
At the start of next week I’m attending Marketing 2.0, the 3rd International Word of Mouth Conference in Paris (see here). The conference will be looking social networks, mobile marketing, internet TV and video as well as word-of-mouth marketing, with the aim of evaluating which models are working right now and which will grow in the future.
The agenda is packed over two days and I’m most looking forward to:
- The EMEA VP of MySpace talking about how to get brand champions from social networks
- Nokia, AskJeeves, Fred Cavazza debating how to keep a buzz alive in social networks
- A whole range of agency and client-side people discussing how word-of-mouth and mobile marketing interface
- A set of University researchers presenting and talking about how the benefits of word-of-mouth can be measured and quantified
- Some real case-studies of how word-of-mouth business cases have been built and been successful
Should be a great couple of days!
I’m going to be blogging from Paris on Monday and Tuesday next week during the sessions so if you want to keep up-to-date with all the latest thinking that’s being discussed, follow me here.
