The regulations are now in final form and can be downloaded and come into force tomorrow (26 May).
Most people who are honest in advertising really have nothing to fear. My retail customer clients and some energy suppliers who market door to door with teams of salesmen need to be a bit careful about what is said and hidden adverts will be banned. For example if I say there is a good course on these regulations in London for the morning of 11th June at which the DBERR/DTI are speaking I can say that today but tomorrow when they come into force I would have to add that I have arranged the course.
