
Helen Trim, Co-founder, Managing Director
Helen has been working in the digital arena for 15 years. After working at Sun Microsystems and United News and Media, she founded new media agency Chord9 and was most recently a director at Sift before joining social media agency FreshNetworks. She's spent the last eight years developing online communities.
Helen has been involved in launching over 100 communities, from small collaborative, closed groups to large public-facing communities with over 130,000 members. Clients include Sky, BT, Butlins, Crufts, the Foreign Office and CIPD.
Charlie Osmond, Co-founder, Strategy Director
Charlie is a co-founder of social media agency FreshNetworks. Before FreshNetworks Charlie worked in Interactive Marketing at P&G and co-founded and grew FreshMinds, a business services firm, twice named UK Market Research Agency of the Year.
Charlie’s personal accolades include London Entrepreneur of the Year, Esquire Magazine UK Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Carlton Young Business Person of the Year and Real Business Magazine “One to Watch”.
Charlie is a fellow of the British American Project, a member of the Young Presidents Organisation (YPO) and holds a Master's in Engineering, Economics and Management from Oxford University. He’s an occasional blogger and in his spare time keep fit for his annual triathlon (one’s enough) and competes as part of the FreshMinds sailing team at international match-racing regattas. The team recently reached a ranking of 28th in the world.
Caroline Plumb, Co-founder, Operations Director
Caroline co-founded FreshMinds in 2000 and is passionate about business innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly about exploiting social media technology to deliver advocacy and insight. She has twice been named on Management Today's "Top 35 women under 35" list for her entrepreneurial business thinking. She is dedicated to new ideas and fresh approaches, and is a regular commentator on enterprise and innovation.
Caroline has a First Class degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from Oxford University. She is a Full Member of the Market Research Society.
Matt Rhodes, Client Services Director
One of the first members of the FreshNetworks team, Matt oversees the production, management and analysis of branded online communities for the likes of the Royal Bank of Scotland, BT and Virgin Media. He has a background in market research, customer experience and strategy consulting, specialising in digital innovation and proposition development.
Matt runs both professional and personal blogs and is a prolific author of social media best-practice articles for a range of publications. He is a regular speaker at social media conferences across Europe, and is often called upon to give expert commentary about social media to various national media sources.
Matt has an MA in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge and conducted post-graduate linguistic research at the Université de Provence in France.
Paul Oram, Chief Technology Officer
Paul has over 10 years of IT consulting and technical leadership experience. He has designed and led the development of innovative software applications across a wide range of sectors including financial services, mobile and retail.
Paul is an expert in the application of agile development techniques, user interface design, business intelligence and social media software. He has delivered next-generation applications for clients such as Egg, Motorola, BAE Systems and Rolls Royce. He previously worked for Lost Wax, a software engineering consultancy, and John Lewis.
Paul has a Master's degree from the University of Cambridge.
Greg Hollings, Head of Community Management
Greg joined FreshNetworks after gaining extensive experience of moderating communities for the likes of Fiat and the BBC while working for social media agency Tempero. Before that, he worked for NHS Choices as an Assistant Community Manager and as a Research Leader at Bloomberg.
Greg manages a continually expanding team of community mangers and is responsible for overseeing community growth, editorial development, project management and commercial delivery across the team as a whole.
